ABSTRACT: Exploring the impact of nanotechnology education in vocational training is pivotal to understanding how emerging technologies shape the workforce's skills and knowledge. This study aimed to assess the influence of nanotechnology education on vocational training outcomes, determine the specific skills enhanced through nanotechnology education, and evaluate the overall satisfaction of students with nanotechnology-focused curricula. A survey design was employed to collect data, as this method allows for broad data collection and insights from a diverse group of participants. The sample size consisted of 200 students enrolled in vocational training programs that included nanotechnology modules. Purposive sampling was utilized to select participants who had direct experience with nanotechnology education. The case study was conducted at the Federal Polytechnic, Auchi, in Edo State, Nigeria. The findings revealed that nanotechnology education significantly improved students' technical skills, increased their interest in STEM fields, and enhanced their problem-solving abilities. Students expressed high levels of satisfaction with the curriculum, noting its relevance and applicability to modern technological challenges. It was recommended that vocational training institutions incorporate more comprehensive nanotechnology modules and invest in continuous curriculum updates to keep pace with advancements in the field.
